League registration is handled in “bundles” this year, which allows us to discount your second and subsequent leagues played (in evening and weekend leagues). There are two main options to register for any league – one for current members of the Victoria Curling Club, and the other for new members. Select the option that applies to you (note that all curlers at the VCC will be members this year; first year members will pay a one-time fee of $25 to become a member and play in our leagues; returning members are assessed a $35 membership maintenance fee).
There are similar choices for weekday, daytime leagues.
There are additional options available for playing in more than two leagues – your 3rd and subsequent leagues are at a flat, discounted rate. Choices for “Intermediate” (under 25 years) and “Junior” (under 21 years) are available for any league.
New this year, we are offering options when it comes to 5 person teams and sparing in our leagues.
All VCC members registered for any league are allowed to spare in any other league free of charge. If they are not playing in another league, the curler will be charged the appropriate membership fee (or maintenance fee) and the Curl BC/Curling Canada association dues, which will then allow them to spare as a member for the season.
5 player teams are allowed. 4 players on the team must pay the regular league fees, while the 5th player must pay the appropriate membership fee (or maintenance fee) and the Curl BC/Curling Canada association dues if they have not already registered for another league at the VCC. Please note that the 5th player on teams are subject to individual league fundraising fees where applicable.
Please remember to select your league fundraising fees if applicable - these will be found under the "Options" area of the registration. Thank you.
