The Victoria Curling Club is proud to host the Greater Victoria Curling Academy. The Academy operates after school from 4pm - 6pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from the end of September until Spring Break.
The GVCA is offered to aspiring and competition ready curlers who are intent on honing their skills under the guidance of professional qualified coaches and instructors. the coaching is intensive both on and off the ice. Social and team development aspects along with the strengths of the individuals, are weighed. The Academy is available to Juvenile Curlers aged 11-16 years, and Juniors under the age of 21.
The GVCA is recognized by the Ministry of Education as an 8 credit course for all high school student requirements for graduation. It is recognized as a skill development program with the Provincial Sport Organization Curl BC.
