Improve or start your game out right with teaching from the newest member of our team, Sterling Middleton. Sterling is a 2 time World Junior Curling Champion, and 3 time Canadian Junior Champion, playing third on the Tyler Tardi rink. Now making his home in Victoria and playing with Team Gauthier, he is a skilled and experienced coach who can help any aspect of your game from delivery to sweeping to strategy.
Individual instruction is $80/hour. $40 for each additional person (up to 4 maximum for intermediate/advanced curlers; 2 people maximum for novice curlers).
(Please note that Sterling is an active curler on the World Curling Tour circuit, and as such has limited availability on weekends. Check the online booking engine for the most up to date bookable times.)
GROUP RENTALS AND CURLING EXPERIENCES
MARCH 15 UPDATE: We are fully booked for rentals for the balance of our season! THANK YOU for an amazing response to our rental availability... We will start accepting inquiries for ice rentals in September for the 2023-24 season; for larger parties, please send an email to info@victoriacurlingclub.com and we will keep you appraised of availability.
Please note that our ice will be coming out after the Sooo Long Bonspiel on April 2, to prepare the Club for the Times Colonist Book Sale.
Have an interest in learning what curling is all about? Want to improve morale in your company workplace? Or have a group of friends that wants to try throwing rocks at houses (legally)? We can do that!
Rentals with instruction and all the equipment you need are $25 per person for an hour of ice time, with a minimum of $150 for a sheet of ice (which can accommodate up to 8 people). Extra hours of ice time are half price.
For larger groups, we can host a private party in our upstairs lounge (with 15 local taps!) in conjunction with curling, or just because - please phone or email the office for more information.

Tuesdays 1pm - 5:30pm
Thursdays 1pm - 5:30pm
Fridays 1pm - 3pm; 5pm - 6:30pm

SCHOOL GROUPS - please note we are now full for bookings for this season. If you are a high school, and possibly interested in our High School Curling League for next season, please drop a line to info@victoriacurlingclub.com, and we will get you on the list of interested parties. We had 8 teams from 5 schools last season, and look forward to growing the sport among our youth!
We book school groups throughout the season at a special rate of $7.50 per student. School bookings include instruction and equipment - we ask that students under 14 bring their own helmet.
School groups can be accommodated (subject to size) during the following hours:
Tuesday: 10am - 12pm; 1pm - 3pm
Thursday: 1pm - 3pm
Friday: 10am - 12pm; 1pm - 3pm
