Queer Friendly Drop-in Curling – EVERYONE WELCOME

The VCC invites members of the Greater Victoria Pride Community who are interested in curling, having fun, maybe trying a new sport, meeting new people or all of the above, to come down to our Queer Friendly drop-in curling night!

“Getting started” instruction in this sport that involves ice, sliding, sweeping, yelling, and yes – throwing rocks at houses – will be provided. All necessary equipment including shoes and brooms (you are welcome to bring your own helmet, such as bicycle, skateboard, hockey, if you like) are provided.

If you have curled before, even better – this is the chance to bring a friend or two! Participants will find the VCC to be a safe, welcoming place in which to enjoy an evening of fun and socialization. Mungo Sue’s Cafe, and the upstairs lounge will be open in addition to the ice.

Entry is $25 all in with instruction and equipment; $15 without equipment (bring your own).
