How to register for the 2nd half of the season

Recognizing that there are potentially many displaced Esquimalt Curling Club members as a result of the decision to convert the curling ice there into a COVID-19 vaccination centre, we have attempted to create as many opportunities for ECC curlers to complete their season this year at the VCC.

While we do not have unlimited ice time to offer, there are several leagues that are able to accept new registrations, on either a team or individual basis, depending on the league:

Monday Afternoon Ladies (12:30pm) – 5 teams

Monday Night Men (6:15pm / 8:30pm alternating) – up to 14 teams (shared with Ladies)

Monday Night Ladies (6:15pm / 8:30pm) – up to 14 teams (shared with Men)

Tuesday/Friday Senior Men (10am) – up to 24 individuals

Wednesday Morning Ladies (10am) – up to 4 teams

Wednesday Nigh Men (6:30pm / 8:45pm) – up to 12 teams

Thursday Masters (10am / 12:30pm) – up to 16 teams (2nd draw)

Friday Afternoon Ladies (12:30pm) – up to 16 teams (new ice time)

Friday Night Mixed (7pm) – up to 4 teams

Registration for the Tuesday/Friday Senior Men and the Thursday Masters can be found HERE (click link).

Registration (on a team basis) for all other leagues can be found HERE (click link).

Full details can be found under each league’s registration page. We will be taking individual registrations and payments once the 2nd half of the season has commenced for those leagues taking “team deposits” to hold a spot.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering as an individual – and you have not curled at the VCC previously this season – you will find in your registration that you will be asked to pay Curl BC fees and Curling Canada fees again. You are *not* subject to these fees if you are registering after having played at another Club in BC (i.e. Esquimalt). There is no way for the system to delete these fees automatically from your registration – please select “Cash/Cheque” as the form of payment and then contact the office directly to pay and we will remove the extra fees from your profile at that time.

Thank you for your attention to this, and please be aware that we are working through this unexpected influx of curlers mid-season in as orderly a fashion as we can.We appreciate your understanding.
