UPDATED INFORMATION FROM THE OFFICE

Dear Members, as most of you are aware, we pro-actively decided to suspend our curling season last week due to COVID-19 concerns, with two year end bonspiels – the men’s Thunderbird, and the Sooo Long – still yet to play.

While it was an abrupt end to the season, we feel it was the right decision. We do want to pass on some further information from the Club as the city starts to grapple with the scope of the situation that’s unfolding.

Currently, our office hours are from 11am – 3pm Monday to Friday only. Good Fellows Cafe remains open from 8am – 3pm. However, as we are sure you are aware, hours of operation are *very* subject to change at this time. We continue to monitor the situation and will act in the best interests of the staff and our members.

At this point in time, if you have a locker, it is available for you to access during our office hours. However, please note that our events (specifically the Times Colonist Book Sale) that would ordinarily restrict access to the lockers have been postponed, so there is no immediate panic for you to retrieve your gear.

The Pro-Shop is closed. We are looking to have a mid-summer/pre-season sale when it makes healthy sense to do so.

Refunds for payments made for the Thunderbird and Sooo Long bonspiels will be processed over the next couple of days, back to the original form of payment (i.e. if you paid by credit card, we’ll credit that back). If you have questions, please call or email the office.

We are looking to have the “Sooo Long” Since We’ve Been On The Ice Bonspiel near the beginning of the 2020-21 season – stay tuned for updates as they come available!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE – STAY SAFE, AND WASH YOUR HANDS!
