Spare Information

Spare registration and Management through Curling I/O

We are using our regular registration platform, Curling I/O, for spare management. This means that after you have created your user profile in the system, you will be able to manage your own sparing preferences.

If you are curling in another league at the VCC, you are entitled to spare in any league free of charge.

 If you are NOT playing in another league at the Club, spare fees are as follows:

$50 plus GST – first half (pre-December) registration

$50 plus GST – second half (post-December) registration

In addition, you are responsible to pay the VCC Membership fee of $50 plus GST and the Curl BC/Curling Canada association fees (if you have paid Curl BC/Curling Canada fees at another member Club, you do NOT have to pay them again – please choose to pay “in office” at the time of registration.

To view the spare list for a league (MEMBERS)

1. Sign into Curling I/O.

2. Click on LEAGUES

3. Select the league you wish to find spares for

4. Click on SPARES

1. Go to your CURLER profile.
2. Click on SPARING

  3. Select the leagues you wish to spare for, and whether you want your contact information to be displayed (recommended if you want people to actually contact you – note, that only curlers who are signed into the system can see your information).

     4. Click on “Update Curler” — and you are done!

1. Go to the registration page in Curling I/O
2. Sign up/sign in as required
3. Select “Products” on the menu in the top right. Choose “Spare Registration”.
4. Sign waivers, pay fees.

Congratulations! You are now a member of the VCC – follow the directions for members shown above.
